什么是“特殊情况”？

• Loss of employment for 10 weeks or more due to lay-off or termination (student, spouse, parent).
• Change in income due to a divorce or separation.
• Death of a spouse or parent.
• Disability of a student, parent, or spouse.
• One time income (example: 401K or IRA withdrawal).

上诉程序是怎样的？

To appeal, you must first complete the FAFSA and any additional required documentation in your PTC pathway account.

Our Professional Judgment form is available on the Financial Aid Tab of your 途径帐户 and will walk you through needed information and documentation.

我上诉后会怎样？

上诉由一名小组成员审查，并逐案处理； 由财政援助管理员作出判决，作为最终决定。

如果获得批准，管理员将对联邦学生援助免费申请（FAFSA）上报告的信息进行调整，以便教育部可以重新计算预期家庭贡献（EFC）。 EFC是学校用来确定学生是否有资格获得基于需求的经济援助的数字。

请注意：学校无权直接调整EFC或用于计算EFC的公式，只有FAFSA上的数据元素可能会改变EFC。
